Shopping around for a camshafts can be scary when it comes to the Mod motor. For years no one offered camshafts or springs for the mod motor. The only thing available was a stock camshaft that was reground to questionable specifications. Additionally, the valve springs that were available were just as poorly designed. Nothing really worked and they always broke the valve springs. Things have changed a lot, but there are still some vendors out there that are offering poor quality products due to their own lack of knowledge. We have even found one vendor that is selling �performance cams� that is actually smaller than the factory camshaft.
