The ICON hydraulic bumpstop system is a must for anyone who takes their Raptor off-roading. At low speeds the system allows for soft and compliant suspension travel and at high speeds, very high forces are created to resit bottoming out. The hydro-pneumatic bumpstop uses oil and nitrogen allowing it to do two task: act as spring and shock. The internal nitrogen charge gives the bumpstop spring like characteristics when compressed, while the oil controls the amount of energy that is returned to the suspension. The ICON hydraulic bumpstop system also beefs up known weak points on the frame that are prone to failure.
